Editorial Policy
Last updated
Our aim is content a candidate can trust without double-checking it elsewhere.
Who writes the content
Questions, explanations and guides are written and reviewed by people with experience of SSC examinations. Automated tools may assist with formatting and consistency checks, but an editor is responsible for everything we publish.
Standards
- Correctness first. Every question has exactly one defensible answer and an explanation that shows how to reach it.
- Clear labelling. Papers are marked official, memory-based or sample. We do not present reconstructed or original material as official.
- Useful, not padded. Pages exist because they help a candidate, not to fill a keyword. We do not publish thin or duplicate pages.
- Honest claims. No invented testimonials, ratings, selection counts or rank predictions.
Review
New questions are checked for a correct key, clear wording and correct topic tagging before publication. Guides are reviewed when the related notification or pattern changes, and show the date they were last updated.
Corrections
Errors are fixed promptly and, where the change is significant, noted. See the correction policy.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers or partners. SSC Rank is not affiliated with the Staff Selection Commission.
