About SSC JHT
This examination recruits Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators and Senior Hindi Translators. Paper 1 is an objective test of General Hindi and General English; Paper 2 is a descriptive test of translation and essay writing.

What is the SSC JHT Paper 1 exam pattern?
SSC JHT Paper 1 has 200 questions to be answered in 120 minutes. Each question carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. The sections are General Hindi (100) and English Language (100).
Is there negative marking in SSC JHT?
Yes. In Paper 1, 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer, while unattempted questions are not penalised. Online practice on SSC Rank applies the same deduction.
