About SSC GD

The Constable (GD) examination recruits Class 10 pass candidates as Constables in the Central Armed Police Forces and SSF, and as Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.

The computer-based examination is followed by physical efficiency and standards tests, a medical examination and document verification.

What is the SSC GD Computer Based Examination exam pattern?

SSC GD Computer Based Examination has 80 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. Each question carries 2 marks, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. The sections are General Intelligence and Reasoning (20), General Awareness (20), Quantitative Aptitude (20) and English Language (20).

Is there negative marking in SSC GD?

Yes. In Computer Based Examination, 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer, while unattempted questions are not penalised. Online practice on SSC Rank applies the same deduction.
