Correct answer: (A) 12 days
Divya's one-day work = 1/18 and Vikram's one-day work = 1/36. Together they do 1/18 + 1/36 = 54/648 = 1/12 of the work per day, so the work is finished in 12 days.
Shortcut: Days together = (a × b)/(a + b) = 648/54 = 12.
